Charities We Support
Give A Smile
Once a year, each orthodontist will see and treat one new patient each at no cost to the patient. Look at the Give A Smile official page for more information.
Jeans For Genes Day
Each year on the first Friday in August, South East Orthodontics supports Jeans for Genes Day. We all wear our favourite jeans, donate money and purchase merchandise, to show our support for genetic research. The donation we make helps scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute discover treatments and cures, to give every child the opportunity to live a long and healthy life.
Loud Shirt Day
For the second year in a row, South East Orthodontics has supported Loud Shirt Day by giving a donation and having an excuse to wear our brightest craziest shirt to raise money to help give the gift of sound and speech to deaf children. All funds raised go to First Voice Centre in your state. Your gift will help the First Voice centres give deaf children sound and speech. Our support opens doors to better education and employment choices, social integration with the hearing world and the chance to contribute to their community. It is through donations like ours that hundreds of deaf and hearing impaired children can now tell their mothers and fathers they love them.
World Vision Sponsor a Child
At South East Orthodontics we have been sponsoring a child in Mwinilunga, Zambia named Silvia since 2006. Our donations have helped Sylvia have food and agriculture, clean water and sanitation, health and nutrition and also education and child rights. We regularly receive letters and pictures from a Sylvia and love that we are making a difference in her life. World Vision is a great Charity that is a worldwide community development organisation that provides short-term and long-term assistance to 100 million people worldwide (including 2.4 million children) and we have the pleasure of being involved in such a wonderful organisation.
